The first nudist restaurant ever in Paris, the restaurant O’Naturel is very soon the key around. The much talked about restaurant closes after only having served classic French cuisine in a little more than a year to released splitternøgne guests. But the lure of nudity was not enough to catch customers in, so that the restaurant could run with the profits.

It writes multiple media including CNN

The world-famous restaurant is closing, according to a posting on the restaurant’s own facebook page is already the 16. February. The owners of the O’Naturel, the twins Mike and Stephane Saada, also to the media told that they are closing because of financial problems.

After the opening of the O’Naturel in november 2017 there was plenty of positive publicity of the special restaurant in the whole world, and the restaurant got top marks from both their clients as well as madanmeldere.

In august last year, wrote Florian Dupuis, among other things, the following:

‘Magnificent restaurant, futuristic in its boldness with naturism. Here promoted the fair values of naturism, tolerance, and there is no one there to be judged, because they look wrong.’

When customers need to dine at the restaurant O’Naturel they go first into a dressing room where they throw all of their clothes and also taking their mobile phones and cameras, because of course it is strictly forbidden to take pictures of the other diners in the respect for their privacy. As an interesting detail it can be mentioned that it is only the customers that are naked. The serverende the waiters and cooks have clothes on.

the Media The Local tells, that it is with great sadness that the twins Mike and Stephane, say goodbye to their customers:

‘Thank you to all those who have participated in the adventure and eaten with us at the O’Naturel. We will remember all the good times and all the wonderful and beautiful people we have met, and who have taken part in an exceptional experience.”

Mr Luff, who is chairman of the ‘Association of nudists in Paris, the ANP, has also told the media Munchies, that the O’Naturel closes, because the restaurant has had a particularly bad tourist season.

‘The high prices held many of the local to visit the restaurant. The quality is taken into consideration, it was not expensive, but for the vast majority of parisians, it was still too expensive, that you visited the site regularly. There are many who have tried the restaurant once and was satisfied, but then they came never again, because they couldn’t afford it’, says Laurent Luff on the menu, which cost 50 euros for three dishes. It corresponds to approx. 370 dollars.
