In the second round, lost to the seventh seed in three sets the Spanish Sara Sorribes Tormo (WTA 86): 6-4, 1-6, 6-1 after a little more than 2 hours. In the last eight meets Sorribes Tormo the third seed Su-Wei Hsieh (WTA 28) from Taiwan, that Monica Puig (WTA 53) from Puerto Rico, defeated.
