Stefan Löfven (S) said in an interview in Today’s News that he has not given up hope of a regeringsuppgörelse with rodney king during an arrest and is prepared to compromise on labour law in order to get the Centre party.

But from the LO’s part is critical to a settlement between S and the Centre party, which includes new legislation on employment protection.

– There are always issues and problems that we and the employers are ongoing to resolve together. To try to resolve it through parliament is completely the wrong way to go, ” says LO-base, Karl-Petter Thorwaldsson to the TT.

No mandate

TT: Is there anything the politicians could do in regard to labour law?

– No, it does not.

Building chairman Johan Lindholm is surprised and concerned by the Löfvens statement:

“I want to finally be clear that the social democrats have been given a mandate to negotiate away our labor and you will not get it either. Workers ‘ rights and safety is not for sale at the negotiations with a neo-liberal and löntagarfientligt centrist party,” he writes in a press release.

extra options better

Thorwaldsson do not believe that the parties want to have an additional choice and that they will therefore sit down and reason with each other about potential solutions. But for LO’s part, there are areas where you don’t think that’s going to go C to the meeting, even if it would mean an extra option.

” It is not possible to introduce market rents, no. And it is not possible either to take away job security for all businesses with up to 50 employees, then it is better with an extra option, ” says Thorwaldsson.

Loof welcome

C-leader Annie Lööf is however positive to Löfvens stance on labour law.

“I think it is great that Stefan Löfven will see the problems that exist on the Swedish labour market and what needs to be done,” says Lööf.

She has not in any way closed the door for an intergovernmental cooperation with the Socialdemokraterns and Stefan Löfven.

– Centre party will be constructive and playable, and continue to bid for Sweden to get a government.

If the negotiations with P to pick up where they left off the last time she can not answer.

– The next few weeks will show it. As Stefan Löfven says he has not yet made contact with us.
