the Prosecutor’s office in Tokyo on Friday issued a new arrest warrant on the Nissan Motors ousted chairman Carlos Ghosn. It was the fourth leg for his hope to be released on bail.
It will write to the japanese media, according to news agency AP.
Ghosn was arrested on 19. november together with Greg Kelly, who is a second top executive in Nissan. They are both prosecuted for fraud.
The new arrest warrant was issued, a day after a court has rejected prosecutors ‘ request to extend the remand of Ghosn and Kelly.
Their defenders has hoped to get the two defendants released already on Friday. Friday’s arrest warrant, valid so far, however, only Ghosn, why there still is the possibility that Kelly could be released on bail.
Authorities suspect the two in order to have underreported their milliongager. It had to be done to get cheaper in tax.
The alleged fraud must have been going on from 2011 to 2015, when he was the managing director of Nissan Motor.

the Charges against the former chairman of the board is a product of Nissan’s own investigation.
