“Mads Mikkelsen hailed at the Gothenburg film festival”
“Danish film star Mads Mikkelsen will receive this year the honorary prize at Gothenburg international film festival.”

“– It feels amazing. I grew up with all the Swedish children’s programmes and amazing Swedish movies. Then I had no dreams of becoming an actor. So to now get a nordic honorary award from the film festival in Gothenburg feels surreal. Gothenburg international film festival was the first festival I visited. We were there with the ”Flashing lights” (2000), and it was a very nice experience, ” he says in a press release.”
