Two young women from, respectively, Denmark and Norway were Monday found killed in the Atlas mountains in Morocco.
the Women were backpackers and according to the Norwegian media both in the 20’s. They were found dead in a popular hiking area not far from the village of Imlil.
Imlil often serves as the starting point for excursions to the mountain Toubkal, north africa’s highest mountain.
Local sources tell to the Norwegian newspaper VG that the women arrived to the village on Sunday.
According to the moroccan media had bodies wounds from the knife wounds, and police have opened a criminal investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor.
