The Ring had worked “like a travel Agency”, police said on Monday. He had advertised in the Northern Moroccan city of Larache to “customer”, via the Mediterranean sea to the Spanish coast and from there in the cars to the desired final destination to be transported.
Per Crossing have collected the Ring at least 2500 Euro. According to police, the smugglers brought in this year, 600 migrants illegally entered Spain and took control of approximately 1.5 million Euro.
According to estimates by the International organization for Migration have been killed since the beginning of the year, more than 55,000 migrants illegally across the Mediterranean to Spain. At least 743 migrants have died on the dangerous journey towards Europe, or disappeared without a trace. (nag/AFP)
