It will still not easier to be vegan in the aarhus daycare centers. It says mayor Jacob Bundsgaard (S) to Aarhus Stiftstidende.
There was a proposal ready in the municipality, designed to ensure the menus without the exploitation of animals and animal products in everything from nurseries to nursing homes.
But it is not for nothing.
– It is going too far to demand that all institutions should offer vegan food, says the mayor to the newspaper, even though it was his own party’s proposals, to get a more plant-based diet in the cafeterias.
There was a narrow majority for the proposal, which was supported by The Radical Left and the option in the municipality.
After Jacob Bundsgaards bid must, however, assume that the proposal is dead and buried.
He will, according to the Aarhus Stiftstidende still like to strike a blow for that one must reduce its change.
