Sandbech got 181,33 points and prevailed 1,33 points ahead of american Chris Corning. Røisland was further 0,67 points behind.
– It is all at! I had no expectations for it here. It went quite bad at the start of the week, and so I don’t know quite what happened – it just klaffa, ” says a delighted Ståle Sandbech.
What started as an unfortunate competition-week in Colorado, when Marcus kleveland also shattered the kneecap on the training, received a positive termination. Sandbech took first place after a very exciting competition.
Level was very high and people went proper on. I have never seen as good relationship in Colorado. It always tends to be a bit windy, but there was absolutely no wind and warm – lovely conditions”, Sandbech.
It was the last competition in the prestigious Dew Tour event, and it was the first Norwegian victory.
Silje Norendal was number six in the women’s slopestyle, which was won by the Other Gases.
In the ski was Johanne Killi number four in the slopestyle. Kelly Sildaru won.
