During the christmas season of 2017 was the town hall for the first time converted into a lichttempel. This year takes the municipality with a similar initiative, but there is one big detail: the color of the decoration.
The entire hall lights up purple, what are the opinions on the public opinion divides. “Beautiful, impressive”, it sounds to many. But others snickering that the purple color is a bit like a brothel.
Mayor Raf Terwingen (CD&V) explains. “The color was chosen by one of our officials, but from Monday, will that color can change. Last year we had only yellow light and have other options.
