Our Abt 12 is still regarded as the crown jewel of the brewery, and this way provides an opportunity for our beer to purchase in a unique package. The beginning of an annual tradition, and for collectors a lot of fun, because that is the range since 2012, genuine collector’s items,” explains Pieter.
“We do always appeal to an artist for the development of the label. In the past adorned the works of o.a. Rik Vermeersch, Christian Sylvain and André Van Schuylenbergh the label. For the edition of 2018 we could see the Belgian, multi talented artist Kamagurka convince the schilderskwast and he painted specially for us, ‘The Drainpipe’.” The Abt 12 Magnum 2018 costs 16 euro and is available at any better beer and liquor and, of course, also in the brewery shop of St. Bernardus.
