Gistel In Gistel escaped a postman this morning around 10 am in the nick of time to a dive with her post car in the Moerdijkvaart.
The adjacent Vaartdijkstraat was indeed slippery. In a bend about a hundred metres from the Dullaertweg started the car to slip. Fortunately for the female driver remained in the car stuck on the grass verge next to the canal and she came out with the fright. A passing car driver stopped for the woman to help through the passenger side of the car to creep. Then came a colleague the unfortunate postman to retrieve, and a breakdown service notified. The mail seems to eventually little damage to have accrued.
