It is basically fixed, that Denmark today and, not least, Sunday will be hit by sleet and snow showers. In turn, twists the forecasters at DMI part of it is for the moment impossible to say how much snow we can expect.

– the Forecasts are very different and changes all the time. So there is great uncertainty about how much snow falls, says meteorologist Mette Wagner to Ekstra Bladet.

Immediately there is, however, not something that points to a large-scale and crippling snow storm with stalled cars and emergency response.

It is early Thursday morning real, that Sunday probably is the day when we will be hit by a frontsystem with snow.

– at the same time blowing it up on Sunday, and the temperature is probably under frystepunktet. So depending on how much snow comes, we can be hit by blowing snow. As it looks right now, then there’s not more than about three centimeters of snow. We have previously predicted about five centimenter. But again – it’s all very uncertain right now. So people should keep an eye on our forecasts, which we regularly update, says Mette Wagner.

There is also great uncertainty about when the cold will be replaced by milder weather.

– Right now, it looks as if that mildningen first comes Monday.

According to Mette Wagner is already a little snow in the air Thursday.

– In the course of the afternoon, there may be little snow in the air throughout the country. That will drop the most snow – and sludbyger in the southern part of the country. But since there are local bursts, it can be difficult to say exactly how it happens. There are also holes in the cloud cover over Sweden. These holes will also hit Denmark, so there will occasionally be the opportunity to see the sun peep above.

the Temperature will in the daytime be around plus two degrees. Although there may fall some snow on Thursday, then it becomes not so much that you need to find the sledge forward, says the weatherman from DMI.

Friday and Saturday will be also with occasional snow and sludbyger and with temperatures around the freezing point and up to three degree heat.
