Eight days already since the flame landed in Marseille. It continues to travel the roads and after being brandished this Wednesday on the heights of the Canigó peak (2,785 meters) in the Eastern Pyrenees (the images are striking), the Olympic flame crossed the Aude.
It will start from the Fortress of Peyrepertuse then continue its journey to Narbonne, Lagrasse, Limoux and Castelnaudary. The Olympic flame also passed through Gruissan before ending its journey in Carcassonne.
Singer Olivia Ruiz will be one of the main flame bearers during this eighth stage. The young influencer Rose “THR” will also have this honor, as will the former rugby player and now winemaker Gérard Bertrand.
