Ghanaian striker from Hull City (English D2) Benjamin Tetteh has signed up for the next three seasons with FC Metz (promoted to L1), we learned Thursday evening from the Moselle club.

After starting in Europe in 2015 at Standard de Liège (Belgian D1), the 26-year-old Ghanaian international (seven caps) went through the Czech Republic (Bohemians 1905, Sparta Prague), Turkey (Yeni Malatyasport) before play last season at Hull City.

Tetteh is FC Metz’s sixth recruit after defender Maxime Colin (ex-Birmingham, English D2), midfielder Jean N’Guesan (ex-Nice, loaned to Lausanne then Nîmes), striker Simon Elisor (ex-Seraing relegated to Belgian D2, loaned to Laval for six months) and the two young Senegalese from Génération Foot, striker Ibou Sané and defender Sadibou Sané. FC Metz, which joined L1 last June, will start its season in Rennes on Sunday (5:05 p.m.).
