Airbus saw its net profit fall by 20% over one year to 1.53 billion euros in the first half, still marked by a “complex” operating environment which thwarts its ramp-up, the European aircraft manufacturer announced on Wednesday.

The turnover of the aircraft manufacturer, which managed to deliver 316 commercial aircraft between January and June against 297 during the same period last year, on the other hand increased by 11% to 27.7 billion euros, the company confirming its annual objectives, including the delivery of 720 aircraft.
