Berlin’s Senator for Justice Lena Kreck (left) advocates being able to permanently retire judge Birgit Malsack-Winkemann, who was imprisoned after a raid on the Reichsbürger scene. “My hopes are high because a new situation has arisen,” Kreck told the “Spiegel”.
The senator has filed an appeal with the service court at the Berlin-Brandenburg Higher Administrative Court after an unsuccessful attempt in October to send the former AfD member of the Bundestag into early retirement. After the Bundestag, the 58-year-old worked as a civil judge at the Berlin district court, most recently in a chamber responsible for construction matters.
“A judge who lacks constitutional loyalty cannot administer justice,” explains Kreck. She also wants to achieve that the pension is deleted. After the arrest, the judge left the chamber with an emergency order from the President of the Berlin Regional Court.
