Marielle Berger Sabbatel took second place in the second ski cross race held in Nakiska (Canada) on Sunday and maintains the lead in the general classification of the World Cup in the discipline by eleven points.

After a fourth place on Saturday during the first race, the Frenchwoman took second place behind the Canadian Hannah Schmidt, already winner the day before in the Alberta resort, which hosted the Calgary Olympic Games in 1988. Taken into the lead of the World Cup the day before, Berger Sabbatel remains 11 points ahead of Schmidt after seven of the nineteen races on the program this winter.

The Swede Sandra Naeslund, who has dominated the discipline for several years, did not start the race. She stopped in the semi-final on Saturday, not taking part in the small final.

Among the men, Terence Tchiknavorian took second place on Saturday behind the Canadian Reece Howden while on Sunday, Youri Duplessis Kergomard finished in third place behind the Swiss Jonas Lenherr and the German Florian Wilmsmann. The next stage of the Ski Cross World Cup is scheduled for a week in St. Moritz, Switzerland, with a race on the program.
