The images are impressive, the bike seemed to have been crushed under the power of the impact during the accident. Andrey Amador came close to the worst on Thursday on the roads of La Garriga in Spain. The Costa Rican runner was allegedly hit by a truck during training according to journalist Isaac Vilalta of Catalunya Radio.
According to the Spanish journalist, Amador suffers from several injuries to one leg (tibia and fibula) but his life is not in danger.
