Olympic 200 meters vice-champion Kenneth Bednarek easily won the 200 meters at the Diamond League meeting in Doha on Friday, winning with a great time for his comeback.

The 25-year-old American completed the half-lap around the track in 19 sec 67 (1.7 m/s wind), lowering by a hundredth his personal best which dates from the final of the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021, at the end of which he won the silver medal.

Leading out of the turn, the sprinter finally dominated his compatriots Courtney Lindsey (20.01) and Kyree King (20.21).

At the same time, he signed the best world performance of the season, even if many sprinters have not yet made their comeback.
