Global warming is heating the Arctic up in record time. And the warming is causing “major changes” of the Earth’s environment.
this is the sound of some of the warnings in a u.s. study on Tuesday.
– the Year 2018, it was næstvarmeste, which is measured in the Arctic since we began measuring in 1900, the sounds in the studio.
It is so far the warmest year was 2016.
the Study also concludes that 2018 was the year in which The Arctic Ocean was covered by the second smallest amount of ice.
a total Of 81 researchers from 12 different countries are behind the study.
It is published by the government in the UNITED states, studying conditions in the sea and the atmosphere, and which belong to the UNITED states department of commerce.
– the Results of the study shows that the consequences of the constant warming in the Arctic continues to pile up.
– Continued warming of the atmosphere in the Arctic’s atmosphere and oceans causing major changes in the environment. Both ways, as we had expected, and in ways that we had not expected, says the study.
Here it appears also that the temperature in the Arctic in the last five years “has surpassed all previous measurements since 1900”.
Mikroplast is also an increasing threat in the Arctic, warns the study:
– A global study of the mikroplast in the oceans recently showed that the amount of mikroplast in the sea in the Arctic is higher than in any other ocean in the world.
