After finding a lot of pornographic material featuring minors in his possession, the Civil Guard arrested a Spanish-born man aged 60 in Mallorca.
The Armed Institute explained in a press release that an investigation was launched by agents of the Minor Women’s Team of the Balearic Civil Guard after a complaint was received that stated that a person had large numbers of pornographic files. Most of these files were involving minors.
Through the Specialized Unit’s investigations, the author was identified and arrested. His home was also searched.
With the help of the Technological Crime Team from the Balearic Civil Guard the search was made. Two hard drives and a cell phone were found and taken for analysis and study.
Agents confirmed that the devices had more than 100 gigabytes worth of pornographic content, including the participation of minors.
The Manacor court was informed by the civil guards that they had taken over the investigation.
