The Danish badminton player Viktor Axelsen is on to the semifinals of the Malaysia Masters, after he Friday won in two sets over Lii Jia Lee from Malaysia.

Badmintonstjernen won 21-12, 22-20 in the quarter-finals in the tournament, which is ranked as a super 500 tournament.

In the semi-final waiting for Chen Long from China, who earlier Friday beat Anthony Sinisuka Ginting from Indonesia, with almost the same digits, 21-11, 22-20.
