A much debated case in Sweden, where a 13-year-old boy by a bus driver was thrown out of the bus, because he made too much trouble, ends now with a trial the 11. april, where the bus driver will be prosecuted for aiding and injury.

the Incident took place one January evening in 2018. Here was the 13-year-old Ahmad Rekkab together with three friends in a bus on the way home from soccer practice in the city of Angered. The boys made noises and made trouble in the bus, and was subsequently thrown out of the bus, after they had already received a warning from the bus driver.

In connection with the eviction claims Ahmad, that his one arm was stuck in the busdøren, and that he subsequently was dragged two kilometers after the bus:

My hand was inside the bus and my body was outside the bus. The bus began to run, and I had to keep me firmly with the right hand at the reels. I was dragged by the bus, while my legs slid on the ground, says Ahmad Rekkab to SVT.

After the incident came Ahmad Rekkab on skadesturen, where it was found that he had broken one arm. He had withdrawals on both the left and right foot and abrasions on the nose.

The violent incident was subsequently reported to the police and has now led to, that the bus driver has been indicted for aiding and injury.

According to the assistentanklageren Marie Johnson, the victim and two witnesses told about the incident in a very comprehensive and detailed way. In the proof will also be used photographs of the physical damage to the Ahmad Rekkabs body as well as damage to his clothes and shoes.

My client is very upset over the whole matter, as he seems deeply unfair. He also says that he had been able to see in the wing mirror, if someone had hung stuck in the door outside the bus, telling Ralph Ekman.

In Gothenburg, there is camera surveillance in buses and trams. But the police have in this case not asked to receive the film from the surveillance camera. They are in fact deleted within 24 hours.

Trafikområdechefen Henrik Cederqvist from the bus company Keolis, which is responsible for buses in Gothenburg, said, in fact, that the bus according to a technical study will brake, if one of the busdørene is open. The said bus is also studied, and it shows no errors.
