49,303 Corona cases were reported to the RKI yesterday.
In the previous week comparison, there is a minus of seven percent.
This is the 30th consecutive business day of a week-on-week decline.
The downward trend in the number of cases is still intact.
The 7-day moving average remains at the lowest level since June 8th.
The nationwide 7-day incidence continues to fall, from 247 to 244.
However, it is increasing in four of the 16 federal states.
This also includes Berlin, where the incidence has been climbing for the sixth working day in a row.
Within a week, the incidence in the capital rose from 162 to 290, which corresponds to an increase of 79 percent.
The start of the school year at the beginning of last week could of course be a reason – only the effect clearly exceeds the effects in other federal states after the start of school.
181 corona deaths were reported to the RKI yesterday.
That’s 62 more than a week ago.
