What is joiner or carpenter on the business card, then a portable tykkelseshøvl a good friend in the maskinsamlingen.

in the Past, had craftsmen big up the steep stairs with the machines, which weighed more than evil year, and which made vigorous attempts to break the back of anyone who so much as thought of moving with them.

In the day available fortunately, the machines, the weight you can handle, and which can even deliver work of high quality. But which one of them should you choose? The tradesman has sent three tykkelseshøvle to the test to find the very best.

Sent to the count
We got a carpenter, Martin Jensen from the ThinkWood and carpenter Tony Winkel from Winkelbyg, both for the daily work with both builders and tømmerarbejde, to choose their three immediate favorites, test them and point to a winner.

The two workmen immediately went in time with both thick and thin items, hard and soft wood. Makitas version ended up with the shaving against a confident view of Dewalt and complete knockoute Metabos planer at an unforgivable technical error.

– Metabo creates kutterslag eventually, and it may just not. Udtræksvalserne should be able to keep the item stable down when it gets run through – also on the last paragraph. You lose simply too much of the topic, if you must take something from both ends, says Martin Jensen.

With kutterslagets notch in the board was Metabo as well as out of the fight, and the other two machines be able to fight on a more equal fight.

Easy reading
On many parameters lay the two machines side by side, but the Makitas planer yet got continuously put several good punches in on the Dewalt version, which therefore slowly lagging behind on the score board.

the First well aimed blow was put, even before the topic came in the machine, namely, by the adjustment and the reading of the height.

–Makita’s are clearly the easiest to read. Both Dewalt and on the Metabo you must practically stand on your head and down under the machine to see how the height is set. At Makita’s swipes you from above. It is just easier to work with, says Martin Jensen.

Tony Winkel agree in the account and continues:

– On the Dewalt is there even such a ‘magnifying-bubble-eye’, you are reading through. It is a hassle. It should be read completely, in order that it becomes precise and so its kind of often dirty inside, so you can’t see the numbers. It won’t do. So better read from the bottom up, says Tony Winkel.

The two machines is reminiscent, at several points a part of each other.

both of them can be packed completely together, so they are easier to transport from car to job and back again. They both have a well-functioning suction, and they deliver a satisfactory piece of work.

tool-less solutions
But there is still a difference. Particularly at a point being the two workmen agree that Dewalt’s parades fall, and Makita getting handed a proper mavepuster.

– On the Makita’s you do not need to stand and tinkering with the tool, when the blade needs to be changed, or sucked should be connected to. On the Dewalt and Metabo you must have hold of a screwdriver and the stand and fiddling around with small screws. Is it any easier on the Makita’s, says Martin Jensen.

An equal match
Even though the Makitas planer through the test have struggled for the most points, there are points where the two artisans can see the many advantages of using the Dewalt version of the tykkelseshøvlen.

–Dewalt comes with a reduceringsstykke to sucked, so you can put all sizes of hoses. It is not supplied as standard by Makita, says Martin Jensen, and Tony Winkel continues.

– And so is the Dewalt a robust machine. It does not take just how against scrapes. But it means also that it is heavier than the Makita, and that you should decide what you ideally want. Are you alone on a job, it is clearly preferable to have a lighter machine, which is to get up and down, but there are many who are moving around on the machine all the time, so it is an advantage with a machine that really can stick to something, says Tony Winkel.

Sovereign victory
Although there are advantages and disadvantages of both machines, the ends of the Makita yet, with a sure win.

– It is just it is better on several points. Easy to make, simple, and then make the the best results, says Martin Jensen.
