The AfD has fared in the European elections nationwide, although worse than expected – in Saxony and Brandenburg, it was the strongest force. The Greens in Schleswig-Holstein and in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich to square one.
The European election campaign was difficult, said AfD leader Alexander Gauland, in a first Statement on the results of his party in the European elections – and looked not really happy. In fact, the right-wing back to stay if we are in the double digits, nationwide short of expectations.
look Forward, however, is likely to be Gauland about the performance of the AfD in the majority of länder in the East of the Republic – because that is where it looks significantly better for the party.
