Huercal-Overa, Women's Associations and Huercal-Overa coordinate March 8 activities

Maria del Mar Meca (Councilor for Equality of the Huercal-Overa City Council) met at the Women’s Center to discuss the coordination of activities for March 8th, Day of the Women in the municipality. The Solidarity Market will be held at the Plaza Mayor on March 4, while the Play “La Buena Mujer”, which is a free performance, was one of the suggestions. An invitation can be picked up at the Center of the Woman. Workshops that are adapted for the various stages will be held at educational centers from March 7-17. On March 8, the Plaza de la Igualdad will be inaugurated. The pedestrian crossings “in Equality. Every step counts” will also take place.
