The 37-year-old Laura Owens from Formby in England already had breast cancer as 31-year-old.

She has in connection with his treatment, had a double mastectomy operation. It will say that both her breasts have been operated away to remove any trace of the cancer. It has been a tough match for Laura, who is now on Facebook tells about the comments she got from men when she shows her body forward.

– I am a strong woman and not a sex-object, Laura, among others, in a posting on Facebook where she shows a picture of his naked torso up, where you can clearly see the scars in connection with the operations, where she was operated on her tits away. But Laura is ashamed in any way about her body. She shows with pride his body. She believes, however, that certain comments she has received about her body – especially from men – is directly brazen.

‘In the course of the last week I have met two male friends, who I haven’t seen in a long time. They said to other people while I was present: you should have seen Laura in its heyday. 10 years ago….

‘It is outrageous. Or should I be grateful that the guys used to think I was hot? If I had not been through everything that I have been through, and if I was still the same girl like 10 years ago, maybe it would crush me to hear such a thing. But it does not.’

‘I am proud that I, as a 38-year-old has not succumbed to the pressure to use botox and fillers’, Laura continues:

‘It makes me laugh that someone thinks that my heyday was when I had my face oversmurt with make up, perfect hair, sexy outfits and well-fitting bras, back then I dressed me on to get others’ approval.’

‘Fuck it. I am strong and capable of much. I stand up for what I believe in. I walk away from people and situations that give me discomfort. And I wear the clothes that make me happy – not sexy’.

‘In the years, where I was in the’ 20s, I worked in the expensive nightclubs, where image, money and status meant everything. I am proud that I am no longer a part of all the bullshit. I am proud that I care more about what I think than what others think.’

‘I’m scarred, wrinkled and fladbrystet, but I am also feminine and full of life. I’m a fucking strong woman, not a sex-object. I’m not here to satisfy you.’

‘I’m much more than my appearance. And if you can’t see it, then it’s your loss’.
