Tuesday went Lean Bedsvåg (32) a trip to H&M at Linderud centre in Oslo to trade clothes. When she took a sweater to the fitting room to test the size, she got a surprise.

It landed quickly on the floor to put it that way, ” says Bedsvåg to the Newspaper.

In it she took on the sweater, she began to feel the sting and itching of the skin. When she took it out and tore it, she discovered that it was full of insects on the inside.

– most people then died out, but at least one bevegde. It was terribly disgusting, and I can only be glad that I didn’t leave it with me home.

She was no more reassured by the response she met with the staff in the shop when she showed up found.

– It was just some young schoolgirls on the job. They screeched and it looked like they also thought the sweater was nasty. They also told me that they had seen similar in store before.

Ullgenseren should have been loaded in a closed bag, and Bedsvåg went home from the store empty-handed.

They let it away, but I’m unsure if they at all came up. There were many other sweaters of the same type looking for sale in the shop.

– Outside of our standard

Anna Margrét Gunnarsdottir in the communications department at H&M are made aware of the incident, and say they will start an immediate investigation of what has happened.

– We are very sorry for the experience the customer has had and apologize in the strongest. We examine now the case, as this is completely outside of our safety requirements and standards.

She explains that H&M usually have very strict routines when it comes to the handling of the products. But should it happen that the insects come in contact with the products, so it probably happened during transport.

– This is fortunately something that happens very rarely, but we will as said immediately investigate the matter further.

Dagbladet has been in contact with the managing director of H&M store at Linderud, but have not succeeded in getting a comment to the case.
