He said Maduro’s legitimacy. “Before the Almighty God, I vow to take on the powers of the Executive as interim President of Venezuela,” said the 35-year-old Deputy at a rally in the capital Caracas. “Let us all swear that we will not rest until we have attained freedom.”

Maduro has vowed to his followers, in turn, to the defense of his government and of socialism.
