Britain’s prime minister, Theresa May, is planning to postpone the second vote on its brexitaftale to the end of February.

This writes the british newspaper the Telegraph.

After the plan had the british parliament in next week for the second time take a position to the agreement, as Theresa May has negotiated with the EU.

But the prime minister does not expect to reach the goal of renegotiating the agreement with the EU before then, and therefore wants to postpone the vote, writes the newspaper.

Julian Smith, The Conservative Party’s so-called chefindpisker, indicated also on Thursday, during a meeting in parliament that the vote will be postponed.

It also confirms an unnamed regeringskilde to The Telegraph.

– We are not in negotiations yet. From the EU’s perspective is we have not started yet, saith the regeringskilden.

The agreement, as Theresa May negotiated with the EU in november, was in January voted down by an overwhelming majority in the british parliament.

the Page have May been given a mandate from parliament to seek a new compromise with the EU, particularly where the difficult question of the border between Ireland and northern Ireland must be renegotiated.

Thursday will meet May thus, with EU Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker, in Brussels.

Here they discuss the possibility of renegotiating the agreement between the Uk and the EU. But Juncker has previously stated that the agreement is not open for renegotiation.

According to the plan should the Uk leave the EU the 29. march.

Reports about a possible postponement of the vote according to The Telegraph created heightened fear in parts of the house that the Uk will leave the EU without a so-called agreed divorce.
