Australia’s largest city, Sydney, was on Thursday afternoon local time, bombarded by hail the size of tennis balls.
It is the worst haglstorm, which has ravaged over Sydney in the past 20 years, and it received the australian meteorological department to issue a warning about severe weather.

Australian insurance companies have declared haglstormen of a disaster, as they have so far received over 15,000 reviews about the damage caused by the giant hail.
Insurers expect that they are going to pay out more than 20 million australian dollars, which is equivalent to about 92,5 million dollars in insurance premiums.
the State of New South Wales, where Sydney is the capital, was in the 1999 hit by big hail. Then ended up insurers to pay out 1.7 billion australian dollars, which is approximately 11 billion.
