Eight months after Söders announcement of a Munich-package is hardly anything happens, and many questions remain open. To expect miracles, however, would be unfair.

Much of it is not from today to tomorrow, because you have to enter the free state of law. It would therefore be unfair to expect from the last of September, announced the Munich-package of wonders, the timely solution of urgent problems. But in just eight months, even so little is confirmed, but a suspicion from the beginning in the room: the package as a pure election campaign-Initiative to the stubborn state capital, to mobilize a few more votes. Is not successful, the CSU has not fared at the state election known to be very good.

is not It so, that the free state had neglected its largest municipality completely. Yes, Söder has brought with his cash injection for the MVV tariff reform, the cow from the ice, even in the interest of Munich. The construction of the S-Bahn ring is to be examined in the Ministry of transport at least – even if, as yet, not even the most basic questions are clarified (where is he going to run, how many people could use it and that’s even remotely affordable?). Only: For all of this, there would be no Munich-Plan needed. Because, of course, the free state is already on his plane to Munich, which is known to be a part of Bavaria. And must do its tasks. Since it is practical that the Munich Agenda turned out to be so General. There is no schedule, no budget, not a priority list. Just a list of projects, but not exactly groundbreaking news value. So political life is transfigured to a special Agenda.

for example, U-Bahn-Bau: Söder relies on a comprehensive metro-strategy for Munich. That is quite a statement of intent to the state capital with their traffic problems, not to stand in the rain. Only: Schedule and progress needs to accelerate the already the city. The government (state and Federal) contributes financially to his share. This has always been so. All existing U-Bahn-tubes were built and all of the Tunnel on Mittlerer Ring. Without each of the Munich Plan.
