Through the Andalusian Public Agent for Education, the Ministry of Education and Sports has granted the extension and reform works of IES Jandula. This action will improve the training cycles at the educational center. It is part of the Integrated Territorial Investment of Jaen (ITI), which is co-financed by the European Union under the ERDF Andalusia 2014 – 2020 operational program.
The work contract was awarded for 377.633 euros. It will include the construction of a new building that will house the spaces in the Intermediate Training Cycle (CFGM), Technician in Driving Physical Sport Activities in the Natural Environment, and the corresponding minimum teachings. Separately from the existing building, the new one will be 1 storey tall and will include a multi-purpose room as well as a bike workshop, a core room and common circulation areas. This totals 251.78 square metres.
Construcciones Gallardo Barrera S.L. was awarded the contract to expand the educational center as part of the Educational Infrastructure Plan of Mexico’s Ministry of Education and Sports. The expected execution time is four months. The Framework Agreement was launched by the Andalusian Public Authority for Education to accelerate the school work contracting process.
