‘Even if you have lived in Denmark for more than 40 years, you have never forgotten your people, your Peru and the peruvians who lived under harsh conditions, and which needed support. Several times you have traveled from Denmark to Peru to retrace your people and convey the clothes and teddy bears for families in need. You traveled to the highlands in sub-zero temperatures to give the children school books, cocoa, lingerie. For the same reason you were called the “godmother”. Fortunately have you been honored for your social and voluntary work over time. Your diplomas and awards can no one take from you. I am prould like hell.’

I thought not actually on you, since you for many, many years ago said that I would become something, if I wanted to. You even said that I would one day be recognized for my person and my work. But “no one is like you”, I thought at the time.’
‘And when I had abandoned all hope, gave me the final push. You said, I should pursue my dream to become a journalist. You said, I could something with people……. So I became a journalist. And when I last night held you in my arms, we received an email in my inbox. I read it and wept….. See mother…. A nomination coming from the viewers out in the living rooms. Just as you desired of me.’
‘At the most vulnerable moment in my life. A short time after kept your heart beating, and I managed not to tell you what was in the email……but now you know it. You breathing for the last time at home, and your family was by your side. Just like you wanted and like I had promised you.Thank you mami.
