The violent tweet comes after Spike Lee chose to be political, when he made his acceptance speech after winning an Oscar for ‘Best adapted screenplay’ for ‘BlacKkKlansman’ at the night’s awards ceremony.

it urged the filmmaker to the viewers and the audience in the hall to ‘regain our humanity’ at the next presidential election in the UNITED states.
– In the evening, in front of the world, shelves I my ancestors, who built our country, in parallel with the genocide of the native people, Lee said from the stage, and continued.
– When we regain our humanity, it becomes a powerful moment. The elections in 2020 is around the corner. Let us all mobilise ourselves and be on the right side of history. Take a moral choice between love and hate.

The 61-year-old film maker has previously won an honorary Oscar, but this is the first time that he wins a single body of work. He was so full of enthusiasm that he jumped into the arms of Samuel L. Jackson, who awarded the prize, while he exclaimed, ‘you not turn on the motherfucking clock’ with regard to the fact that the speakers must not be too long.

On the social media Twitter has Donald Trump has already accused Spike Lee of racism, while others paying homage to him.
