the so-Called Valet Parking, private firms operated Parking for passengers on the Zurich airport , you need to have to be taken into account in the planning of the Parking house P10 in the environmental impact assessment, if the infrastructure operator, such as a switch or a hub, to the airport. This was decided by the Federal court.

The Lausanne-based judge approved in a judgment published on a complaint of the traffic Club of Switzerland (VCS). The planning approval of the Federal Department of the environment, transport, energy and communications (Detec) for the planned car Park P10, with around 3000 Parking spaces, is repealed.

The Federal court has remitted the case to the Detec. This needs to clarify whether the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for this project currently. It was created before 2012. The previous development of the outside of the airport perimeter to the underlying Parking facilities had not been taken into account in the former SRP.

Contrary to the view of the VCS, the rest of the so-called Off-Airport Parking operators at the airport no switch or envelope of space need not be taken into account in the EIA, writes the Federal court. These Parking spaces would not be in such a close connection to the airport, as that they could be added to the airport facility.
