The investment company of the US star investor, Warren Buffett has suffered a billion dollar loss. Berkshire Hathaway reported that net loss for the fourth quarter on Saturday with 25,39 billion dollars.
the main reason for this course were mainly slide in Investments. In the result of write-downs in the amount of 3.02 billion dollars to be taken into account.
These relate to Buffett that it was almost exclusively the participation in the food group Kraft, Heinz, who had written down on Thursday also around 15 billion dollars. Berkshires operating profit, however, increased to 5.72 billion $ 3.34 billion dollars. (chk/sda)
