The Fnac Darty group widened its net loss in the first half of 2023, to 134 million euros, due in particular to a provision of 85 million euros for a transaction with the Autorité de la concurrence on facts dating back to 2014, according to a statement Thursday.

The company has been notified of a “complaint” from the Competition Authority which notably accuses “a certain number of suppliers of having taken part in a vertical agreement with some of their distributors”, according to the group. “Only one” grievance targets “Darty and extends over a limited period ending in December 2014”, before the acquisition of the company by Fnac.
