Nyno Vargas is synonymous for success. He turns what he sings into a hit musical song. His latest single, “Bandolera”, was recorded in Almeria following his performance at Solazo Fest. It has been viewed over a million times in three weeks. He is still on his summer tour and will be returning to El Ejido to perform at the San Isidro Festival in El Ejido. He also talks to IDEAL about his next project, which will soon become available.

– Nyno Vargas is a musician at what point?

-I am currently working on a new album which will be released in the fall. You can already listen to some songs, including ‘Confiesale” with RVFV and the remix of “Tubaru” with Juan de los Banis and Moncho Chavea. Unreleased songs will be released, but there will be a few songs before then, such as the song with Omar Montes. This collaboration was formed after we met with ‘Hola Nena’. As I said, I am still working on the album. We are deep into the preparations for its release after the summer.

It’s the final touch to The Nyno Effect trilogy. Is there any evolution in the albums?

The Nyno Effect was born after a concert in Andalusia. We didn’t expect that many people would attend, but it ended up overflowing. A friend suggested ‘The Nyno Effect’ and we decided to prioritize this tagline. “The Nyno Effect” is my first professional album. Then came “The Nyno Effect”, which was my second stage, and was an extension of my progression. With my position as an artist, now I am able to let go of this stage and start a new one with “The Nyno Effect,” end.

– What happens next?

-I am going to change my musical direction. This doesn’t necessarily mean I will change the music or do opera or any other type of opera. Although I know what I’m going to do, I must end this trilogy.

-Do you hear Latin sounds in the album?

-Not on this record. There are many national issues that people have accepted very well. You will also notice that songs like “No me lo creo” and “Tubaru” are very Spanish. So I couldn’t see why songs from the United States would be mixed with Spanish songs. From here, the album will have more of a national sound. All songs that I have taken from Latin and the United States, I will keep them as surprises for the next album. This one is a bet on national talent, with powerful songs and kids who are well-positioned, as well as emerging talent.

-Hola, mi marido’ and “Tubaru” are anthems. How has it been working again with these artists?

They are artists who were ahead of their time. It has been easy to work alongside them. They have taught me a lot, as well as the opposite. It is evident that the result has been achieved. It gives the song a second life and I am very happy to have worked alongside artists I have listened to my whole life like el Junco or los Banis.

-Will it be done again?

This album is a surprise, featuring one of the most amazing flamencos. It will be an unexpected success.

What can we know about the song ‘Bandolera,’ which Omar Montes and you have written?

The video clip was shot in Barcelona. We gathered 50 bikers for the filming. It can be an excellent candidate for the song of summer.

There is division among your fans as some people miss their roots. Have you considered recovering any song from Invicto?

It is because I am at a different time in my life and my career. I’m not the same person I was twelve years ago. The new album has a theme that I believe is somewhat reminiscent of the Nyno. Because music evolves, they will hear it with a new sound. I don’t believe I need to listen to something I listened to twelve years ago. I don’t feel the same way and it’s out of the loop. They asked me to rap again, and I obliged. You will find a lot of variety on the album, even street scenes. My goal is to make everyone happy.
