When the Oh Land concert live in Ekstra Bladet on Friday at 20, it will be with a brand new show, and there is emphasis on the fact that it must be a very special experience.
The 35-year-old elektropopsanger and ‘X Factor’judge has thought out of the box. She is accustomed to playing in front of thousands of audiences, so when she must play the piano and sing for a more or less empty chamber, she has had to use the circumstances active to give the viewers at dawn.dk an experience they will not forget.

– It is going to be a more intimate experience. We sink more into our world than if we were standing in front of an audience, where you are forced to be more outgoing.

After a normal concert, she feels actually often that it went better in ‘song’, because you can focus more on the music itself.
– So I see the concert as a kind of practice, which is just nicer than normal. Actually, I think it’s pretty cool to be able to give people the here experience, she says.
When she plays up at the Odd Fellow Palæ in Bredgade, on Friday evening, it becomes not just during the much more intimate setting than you are used to see Oh Land play under. It is also with a setup that is completely new.
Her boyfriend, Adi Zukanović – who are also on stage during a concert – has built a unique instrument only for this one concert.
– This is a completely new setup. We have not performed it before. We have a small robot-drummer, which is made out of all sorts of Lego and toys. I am totally game for it being insanely fun.

– On a big scene I would never be able to make such a thing here, for no one would be able to see it. It provides some other opportunities to play live in a different way, where people get a unique experience out of it, ” says Oh Land.
It is not just something random toys that come on the scene. It is her three-year-old son of Svend toys.
I borrow the allervenligst, hand it back and hope he doesn’t discover anything, she says.
One can not avoid to note that Svend will soon become a big brother. For when Oh Land go on stage, it is not only her self and her boyfriend Adi Zukanović, who is present. A heavily pregnant stomach along with it.
– I get faster tired, because I do not have as much lung capacity as normal. There is another, which steals the space. But I can still easily sing, and I’m not going to jump around, I need to sit down and play the piano, she says.

Exactly when Oh Land must give birth to its son number two, she would like to keep private. But she can tell that it is in the end of July.
– So there is no risk that the water goes during a concert at dawn.dk?
– No, it is not happening. So I should at least be very unlucky, I would say.
