The hostage-taking began around 17 hours. Forty-something D. M. had taken cover in his house along with his 14-year-old son. The police arrived immediately on the spot and tried on the guy to talk to him out of his house, but he refused all cooperation. The man had several children, but at the time of the kidnapping there was only one person present. The 20-year-old half-brother of the 14-year-old boy who was taken hostage, was also on the spot and was not to speak about the father. “For a whole week, he knows what he is doing,” said the half-brother. “A few days ago and threatened he had a knife and I still need to come.
