Asia “Oishii” say the Japanese, if you can find something tasty. The temporary Winter-the upstairs Restaurant of the Widder Hotel is. In the intimate, far-Eastern-decorated room can be focused on the food – it is windowless and quiet. The food revolves around a Japanese-inspired Hot Pot, a worthwhile Alternative to the Fondue chinoise.
On the table
cooked Before the hub, as the Japanese iron pot is filled with all sorts of delicacies in front of bubbling, a Japanese salad on the table. He heard how the Ruinart two glasses of champagne (even a “R” Brut, a Rosé, which we prefer) and a Dessert for the fixed menu (130 Fr. per Person). The salad consists of sweet potatoes, cucumbers, and Edamame, which are with a sesame-Wasabi-Dressing face. A refreshing Start.
Then the waitress brings the pot, we heat up on a hotplate, Made in Japan. The boiler is so the pasta tightly with konjac flour, Tofu, Pak Choi, soy sprouts, or Shitake-mushrooms-filled, that we can see the successful lime-Miso-Fund, in which the ingredients are warmed up for a few minutes, first of all, hardly. It doesn’t hurt to treat yourself as the First a few noodles or vegetables from the pot, in order to make other components of place: In another bowl pumpkin, fish balls, shrimp (from Vietnam), salmon (from Scotland) or Rindshuft (from Switzerland) are located.
The sequence is crucial
Because we want to see even more Animal, we are extending the range. Indeed, there are Supplements such as scallops (5 Fr./St.) or lobster tail (25 Fr./St.). We select a small Portion of Wagyu sirloin steak (45 Fr./50 g). Dramaturgically, we make this order a mistake. The Wagyu, we get medium rare out of the pot and so it is particularly tender, is not more tastes with the served soy sauce as well, that we touch the Rindshuft then.
We would probably have forgotten better first the bowl with the fixed components and only then consider whether we will like a Supplement. Something unhappy behind the Basmati rice, the Starch side dish in the Hot Pot makes us. He is not only dry, but also inappropriate. Why don’t Japanese round grain rice? The Dessert that we take in the Aries-Bar, is a worthy conclusion: It consists of Matcha-Profiterolles filled with white chocolate – the perfect combination for a Sake Cocktail. Oishii!
