the ROME – This that follows is the story of Monita, a young woman from the village of Khalispur, district of Ghazipur, in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India. His house is located on the banks of the river Ganga, another of the imposing presences of nature in the indian subcontinent, along more than 2500 kilometres across the plains of Northern india and borders on Bangladesh, with its sources in the Himalayas the central. His story testifies to the work that the Foundation Pangea place in India since 2004, developing projects of micro-credit for women in difficulty, to whom is offered the opportunity to start economic activities on their own. Projects Pangaea care also in Afghanistan, from 2003, accompanied by the paths of listening, education and training, anti-violence, reconstruction of family ties and for the creation of new opportunities of life, which unsettle the old constraints imposed by the overwhelming, the ancestral supremacy husbandly.
