Friday at 20 you can see the whole of Denmark’s troubadour, Lars Lilholt, guys the of live with Extra Magazine.

He is the first artist to play a concert for the ’Summer Live’, which runs with Extra Magazine each Friday throughout the summer. And he welcomes, too, though it will be entirely without an audience.

– It will be exciting, it is a little different without an audience at all.

– It is a new discipline in it to be a traveling musician, to play without an audience for a single lens. I can damn very well like it. So is there not someone who says a against, he says with a laugh.

Lars Lilholt have played some drive-in concerts, so he has tried to play without the right audience.

– There is no form of communication other than the communication I send out. But it also makes that I need to take me along. So it is fine. Actually, I think it is very fun.

– it Means that you actually are more aware of their viewing experience?

– Yes, clearly. Because if there now was filled with the audience, so I’m so accustomed to, that I need to have the audience up and running. And then it would go out of the camera, because I want it to be a success, and I would like to break down the boundary between stage and audience.

– I have done This for years, and it is I pissegod to. But now it is something new. Now I’m going to break down the border between the orchestra and the audience through one or two lenses. And it is like being and actor, he tells.

When Lars Lilholt Friday concert, so he has not just one, but two surprises with.

– I hear that you are going to play two new numbers for us?

– Yes, you have to make some as being some times. I’m gonna play ’Call it love’. I do this every time, and it would be tumpet not to do it, because half of the country love the song.

– But in order to give ourselves a little nerves, so I said to the guys, ’we’ll take two new ones, with the’, because then we have to tighten the buttocks, he says.

Both songs is with melody of his brother, Kristian Lilholt. They have not been able to meet during the coronaen, but Kristian has posted a couple of tunes to Lars and asked if he could use them.

– It is an old companionship, for we have made songs such as ’The white dwarf’ and ’Café Moonlight’. Now we have two more.

– The one called – very apropos – ’to be close to you’. Of course, it is a title, which is born out of the situation, for it had we not, says Lars Lilholt.

at the same time it is a song that is about that all love carries the grief in itself, he says.

– You are perhaps well married, but one or other day, is there one of them who dies. So will the love and a homeless person. But anyway, we love, and in it there is a big hope.

The other new song is something completely different and has been given the title ’the City’s Best breakfast café’.

– I lived in Jerusalem as a 20-year-old, and the song is about a small cafe called Uncle Moustache. It is actually yet, not far from the Damascus Gate, he says

Uncle Moustache no longer live, for it is 47 years ago, Lars Lilholt was 20.

– Which I came very at the time. It was such a place, where all the hippies and travellers came past, and then you could get breakfast there for cheap money. Were you right on the arse, then one could also pay with a song or two and get some food.

– the Song hits damn very good how I had it for 47 years ago, and I have had the time to sit and think about. It is then turned into a song, and now they get the first performance in Ekstra Bladet, says Lars Lilholt.
