Completely free, this 17th edition offering classical, jazz and electro will honor thirty artists, among them the young talent of 23 year old Alexandre Kantorow, doubly sacred to the Victories of classical music, David Kadouch and Jean-François Zygel.
The concerts, of which the duration has been reduced to adapt to the digital use, will be photographed from the auditorium du Nouveau siècle in Lille, but also from New York, Philadelphia and Amsterdam. They will be broadcast live or deferred on YouTube and visible in Replay.
François Bou explained why it wished to ensure the sustainability of the festival “digital”: “The health crisis has been an accelerator and has confirmed our strategic choices. This edition allows us to maintain the link with the public and make it work for the artists. I hope that this will give the taste to people to come and find us in the room as soon as possible because the concert experience alive is irreplaceable.”
Since its creation in 2004, the festival has attracted some 210.000 spectators. And this year, all these music lovers will be able to follow the whole Festival, Lille Piano(s) Digital from 12 to 14 June, streaming on our Youtube channel ! #LillePianosDigital. A great first!
