Hjulsta school introduced the so-called lågaffektivt treatment against disruptive and violent students. They obviously had just as well have been trying to respond to the violence with a lergöksorkester: Everything got worse, some 50 incidents reported over the past six months.

the lågaffektiva method is prohibited, writes the educational system. The psychologist who argued for it in the books and countless lectures, deans of schools obviously love this – the claim that Hjulsta misunderstood him.

the Article is one of several on the Swedish school, which outraged the last time. Another is to read in the Teachers ‘ journal under the heading ”Why does not require parents to their children behaving well?” The teacher Catrin Johansson writes that the work-related stress is not a problem for her. However, it is the stress that is a result of that she is treated badly by the students and their parents.

the Kids call their teachers ”fucking pussy” and blocking their path in the corridor. The teacher will contact the parents. The answers: ”What did you, what did the school, why, why, why?”

of sadness, anger, and disappointment from the Swedish educational system. Too many schools have too big problem, lärarauktoriteten undermined long ago by the educators, principals and parents. Disruptive students will put fear in its environment, the well-behaved – that ought to get a medal and be helped in all ways – prowling along the walls, while their education gutted of mess and violence.

Catrin Johansson notes ruefully in his text that a lot of parents always blame ”the others”. I would say that it is precisely this attitude, in combination with wishful thinking that it lågaffektiva to be highly effective, which is behind a lot of the problems in the school, yes, in the whole society.

To ”blame” someone is extremely ugly and reprehensible – irrespective of whether that person actually carrying any kind of debt or not: ”Svantessons really ought to get her little odygdspåse to strengthen himself, now he has shaved the neighbor’s cat again!” ”App app app, we should not lay the blame on the Swedish parents of small children, they have it hard enough anyway.”

What options have been passed around and annoyed on it’s way for good order in Swedish schools?

the Gist: If someone behaves badly there is always someone else’s fault. If one is to intervene against missdådaren may not do it in a way so that the hen gets offended, skuldbelagd or insecure. The one who should be punished is not the person himself but to the one who ”let it happen” – the teacher, the school, or a public authority, i.e. the taxpayer.

if the school’s problems makes me ponder. Sweden is a reasonably well-functioning representative democracy. So who has voted in this development? The voters have gone around and annoyed on it’s way for good order in Swedish schools, for quiet in class?

I actually remember not to a political party – possibly with the exception of the V – vocal has pushed the issue of students ‘ right to spread horror in their school. I remember some articles of believing pedagogprofessorer, and a part elevrådsutspel if skoldemokrati, but actually no political debate at all.

the Revolution has taken place in silence.

there are many politicians who today, in any case, the outward pushing the opposite thesis, to re-establish the teacher’s authority and to guarantee peace for the one who takes care of themselves. Minister of education, Anna Ekström is one of them. It augurs much good. Then we should be able to fix a motrevolution relatively quickly.

Or?
