In the past year, have been made in Germany around 185.800 asylum applications. This is a decline of 16 percent compared to the previous year, as the Federal government announced the Ministry of the interior in Berlin on Wednesday. Thus, there were almost 162.000 initial applications, as well as nearly 24,000 a result of requests – a total of well 36.800 less than 2017. In 2016, there were around 280,000 and in 2015, some 890,000 asylum seekers.
