in Japan a Unesco world heritage site Shuri castle is almost totally destroyed in a fire.

the Historical Shuri castle is located on Okinawa island. Shuri castle is estimated to be about 600 years old.

Fire outbreaks there is no date information. Okinawa prefecture police told reporters that the castle vartionnin responsible for guarding the company received the automatic alarm fire Thursday morning at 2.30. The fire is not known to have caused personal injury.

Shuri castle is a key landmark building in the complex, which dates back to the Ryukyu kingdom era of the 1400-century 1800s. It has worked for several japanese kings palace.

the Latest version of the castle was rebuilt of photos and old documents on the basis of the year 1992.

the Castle has been destroyed and rebuilt numerous times over the past centuries. It is a popular tourist destination.
